Although there are arguably many differences, this picture illustrates a few distinctions between an American German Shepherd and a German Shepherd. Hans (pictured on the left), is from German import stock. Rika (pictured on the right), is from American lines. Both are registered versions of the same breed. Also, within the breed there are specialties such as ‘working’ or ‘show’ lines. We are proud to offer both.
